Integrating fragmented services (Maps, Recipes, Chat, Events) into one cohesive, scalable Super-App for the NYC market.
Business Needs
The core mandate was to consolidate four distinct verticals—Map/Discovery, Recipes, Events, and Community Chat—into a single, intuitive platform. The primary design challenge was creating a unified navigation system that allowed seamless switching between these modes without causing cognitive overload.
Strategic Focus
My strategic focus was to design a trusted environment where user-generated content fuels the platform. This required robust moderation UI and clear contribution flows to maintain data integrity for the niche vegan community.
