The Fragmentation Challenge
An initial audit revealed over 70 variations of core components across B2C channels, leading to significant technical debt and inconsistent user experiences. The lack of a centralized library slowed down development cycles and increased maintenance costs for the engineering team.
The System Strategy
We established a source by building a comprehensive design system. Moving beyond simple UI kits, we implemented a strict atomic architecture that unified the design language across mobile and web, with different channels, ensuring 100% brand consistency and scalability for future products.

Users were lost in an abundance of superficial options, diminishing their intent to form meaningful connections. Laila’s core business goal was not maximizing time-on-app, but maximizing the Quality Date Rate by emphasizing "Slow Dating" principles.
